BBC Sport App now live on Virgin Tivo boxes for F1
Formula 1, Euro 2012, Wimbledon, and the Olympics will soon be available too on most connected TVs
The BBC has just released its BBC Sport App on Virgin Tivo boxes so that you can enjoy everything its Formula 1 coverage has to offer in interactive detail. The launch is to be rolled out to smart TVs later in the year. Future events the app will cover include Euro 2012, Wimbledon, and the Olympics.
For now only Virgin Tivo owners can enjoy the BBC Sport App, which is currently covering only Formula 1. That means multi-feed coverage of races including driver cams, full coverage of practice sessions (not aired on BBC 1), and driver tracker options, as well as news fed in from the BBC News site. Coverage will start from Friday 13th of April for the Chinese Grand Prix.
Expect the app to roll out on connected TVs en masse sometime before the Olympics.
