Samsung is on a roll when it comes to staying on track with its software updates. The South Korean tech giant has started rolling out the much-awaited One UI 6.0 update to its recently launched tablets, the Tab S9 FE and Tab S9 FE+. These tablets, the Galaxy Tab S9 FE and Tab S9 FE+, mark Samsung’s first Fan Edition tablets in over two years. Launched in October with Android 13 and One UI 5.1, One UI 6.0 serves as the initial significant OS update of the committed four.

As per the report bySamMobile, the Galaxy Tab S9 FE and Tab S9 FE+ are now receiving the One UI 6.0 update. This update, based on Android 14, is now available for the Fan Edition tablets in Europe. You’ll recognize it by the firmware versions X516BXXU1BWK9 and X616BXXU1BWK9. Moreover, this recent release comes with the November 2023 security patch.

If you have the Galaxy Tab S9 FE or Tab S9 FE+ in Europe, you can download the One UI 6.0 update via the tablet’s Settings app. Simply go to “Software update” and select “Download and install.”

It’s interesting that the Fan Edition tablets didn’t have to wait too long for their update and got one step ahead from the One UI 5.1 with One UI 6.0 update. Although many would feel that one of the four upgrades promised to the tablets has been wasted on an incremental update, that’s not the case as One UI 6.0 comes with its own set of advanced features and enhances the overall user experience. So, we say that it’s a great level-up for Tab S9 FE and S9 FE+ users as they now have a better UI running on their screens.

One UI 6.0 comes with improvements in multitasking and revamps certain parts of the user interface, including the quick toggle area. Additionally, several Samsung apps have received new features or small changes in their appearance.

I tried 3 S3 FE+, and none of them pulled in a single GPS satellite using “GPS Test”. Does this update fix this?
