Hisense P50 5G Rugged Tablet Goes Official with 10.1-inch Display and 6000mAh Battery
Known for televisions, Hisense has launched a rugged tablet with rubberised coating.

The market for rugged tablets is getting an entrant in the form of the Hisense P50 5G Rugged Tablet. The sturdy tablet falls in line with Samsung’sTab Activeseries and is also equipped with 5G connectivity. Hisense’s newest tablet is encased in a rugged housing, making it the ideal device for difficult terrains such as construction sites or other outdoor work environments.
Hisense is globally acclaimed for its televisions, yet the consumer electronics brand also retails tablets in chosen countries. The brand has now rolled out a new Android tablet to its domestic Chinese market — Hisense P50 5GRugged Tablet.
The Hisense P50 tablet offers a 10.1-inch FHD IPS display, equipped with a capacitive stylus. It comes with rubberized coating certified to IP68 and IP69, which protects it from water, dust, or even the harshest temperatures. Its raised edges also protect against drops and fall while shielding the screen.
The 5G tablet is equipped with an upgraded UNISOC Tiger T760 chipset, which offers similar performance as Snapdragon 765G and supports both SA + NSA dual-mode 5G networks, WiFi, Bluetooth, and GNSS. It runs on Android 11 with a custom layer on top.
Hisense equips the device with six intuitive function keys along the front that can be easily programmed according to user preference for utmost convenience. In addition, two integrated microphones are incorporated within the tablet in order to minimize any external noises.
Sporting a 6,000mAh battery and 48MP primary camera, the device offers two memory configurations: 6GB + 128GB or 8GB + 256GB. Sadly, there’s still no word yet regarding pricing or availability details. For now, the tablet seems limited to the Chinese market, but with its presence in many other countries, we might see Hisense taking it global.
