Honor has been one of the regular brands that come up with affordable tablets every year. In its latest move the brand has introduced a new budget tablet dubbed Honor Pad 9. For now, the company has launched the Honor Pad 9 in China but we expect to reach other countries too. The tablet is launched in White, Blue and Gray color variants.

The Honor Pad 9 comes with a 12.1-inch, 2.5K LCD screen with an 88% screen-to-body ratio and 500 nits brightness. There’s also another variant of the tablet that does not have a normal display as it features a paper-like, eye-protecting matte screen that minimizes reflection, making the screen more comfortable and reducing the impact of light and sunlight.

Under the hood, it runs on a Snapdragon 6 Gen 1 octa-core SoC  (4x A78 at 2.2GHz+4x A55 at 1.8GHz Kryo CPUs) Snapdragon 6 Gen 1 4nm Mobile Platform with Adreno 710 GPU. It is available in  8GB/12GB RAM, 128GB/256GB/512GB storage variants.

The tablet also supports the Magic Pencil 3, boasting 4096 pressure sensitivity and a speedy 2ms response time. The pencil even magnetically charges on the top of the tablet, ensuring 10 hours of battery backup. Speaking of battery, the Pad 9 comes with a 8300mAh battery and supports 35W fast charging.

In the imaging department, the tablet packs a 13MP rear camera with f/2.0 aperture, supporting 4K video recording along with an 8MP front camera with f/2.2 aperture, supporting FHD video recording. Connectivity options include Wi-Fi 802.11 ac (2.4GHz + 5GHz), Bluetooth 5.1, USB Type-C with OTG. It measures 278.27x 180.11x 6.96mm and weighs 555 grams for the standard screen variant and 559 grams for the soft-light variant.
