Is the new OnePlus 9RT coming to the UK?

OnePlus launched the affordableOnePlus 9RTin the brand’s home country China last October and now the phone has arrived in India. But, can you get it in the UK?
The short answer is no. While the OnePlus 9RT is now available in both China and India, you can’t currently buy it in the UK.
It also doesn’t seem particularly likely that the phone will launch in the UK in the future.
OnePlus has made no mention of an international release outside of China and India (both of which now have the 9RT). These two countries also happen to be the locations that received theOnePlus 9R, so it looks as though OnePlus is following the same release plan.
The OnePlus 9R launched in China last April and eventually made its way to India later down the line, as did the 9RT in 2022. The 9R never made its debut in the UK, US or Australia, so we wouldn’t raise our hopes for the 9RT to come here either.
That said, OnePlus hasn’t officially ruled out a global release, so we can’t say for sure that the phone won’t launch in the UK.

It’s a shame a UK launch seems unlikely, as the 9RT seems like a incredibly capable device considering its CNY 3300 (around £374) price.
The phone features a flagship Snapdragon 888 processor, up to 12GB of LPDDR5 RAM, a 120Hz OLED display and a 50-megapixel triple camera array. The 9RT also comes with a large 4500 mAh battery and up to 256GB of storage.
Luckily for OnePlus fans in the UK, there are still plenty of great phones available over here from the new flagshipOnePlus 10 Proto more affordable mid-range handsets like theOnePlus Nord 2.
