Kindle Fire HD 8.9in now on sale at Amazon UK
Been waiting for the big-screen Kindle Fire? Well, wait no more – it’s available for £229
It’s been a long old wait, but the 8.9in version of Amazon’s Kindle Fire HD is nowon sale in the UK.
The tablet, which features a 1920 x 1200 screen, front-facing HD camera, dual-band and dual-antenna Wi-Fi, a 10-hour battery life and Dolby Digital Plus sound, is available from £229. That gets you the 16GB version with “Special Offers” (a nice name for ads). The 32GB version is £259 with ads. Both models are £10 more expensive if you opt for the non-ad version.
The smaller Kindle Fire HD 7in has been available since the latter part of last year. You can read our review of thathere.
