MWC 2012 – LG Optimus 4X HD caught on camera

This tasty video shows off the Optimus 4X HD’s screen, speed and UI ahead of next week’s hands on

LG’s Optimus 4X HD has only just beenannouncedahead ofMWC 2012next week and alreadyTelefoninohave got their mitts on a handset. Luckily for us, they’re not ones to keep a good thing to themselves so they posted this vid up on YouTube.

First up, that 4.7in 1280×720 screen looks sharp and mighty tasty as the reviewer skips through pages of apps faster thana hardcore gamer can mess up his chances with an attractive member of the opposite sex.

The LG Optimus 4X HD’s skinned version of Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich also looks impressive. You get new LG-specific widgets and a stylish circular unlock that’s different enough from the standard ICS screen and Apple’s slide to unlock but still looks quick and simple.

Browsing is also speedy, thanks to the Optimus 4X HD’s 1.5GHz Tegra 3 quad-core processor. But it’s not all good news – as one eagle-eyed YouTube commenter pointed out that in the three minute video, the handset’s battery dropped by as many percentage points. Surely that can’t be right?
