New iPad Pro & Air: This Is How Long You’ll Have To Wait Until They Ship

There have been reports about the shipping dates of the latest iPad models, even though they have not been officially announced yet. The release date of the new iPad Pro and iPad Air was earlier expected to be in March, then delayed to April, and now it is believed that the products will be shipped in early May. These details were revealed byMark Gurman in a report published by Bloomberg.
Sources claim that Apple’s suppliers have increased production of the upcoming iPad Pro and iPad Air models, which were originally slated to be released in March or April. However, due to new software and complex manufacturing techniques, Apple has delayed the launch until May. It’s worth noting that May is an unusual month for Apple to launch new products, as the last time it did so was in 2019 with the 7th generation iPod touch. The company released the M1 iMac and iPad Pro in May 2021 after announcing them in April of the same year.
Reports indicate that Apple may be introducing some major updates to its iPad lineup soon. According to sources, the company is considering a new OLED display and M3 processor for the iPad Pro, as well as an updated Magic Keyboard and Apple Pencil. Meanwhile, rumours suggest that the iPad Air may receive an M2 processor and be available in a new 12.9-inch size.
It’s believed that Apple is set to make some other significant upgrades to the iPad Pro model as well. It’s also rumored that the design of the device will be changed to complement these upgrades, which could potentially lead to a price increase for the entire lineup.
It’s unusual for Apple to release a product in May, as it’s so close to the annual Worldwide Developers Conference (WWDC) in June. Perhaps Apple is planning to make a big announcement at WWDC to draw more attention to the new iPads.
