New Samsung Galaxy S3 design – but not for the UK
That’s right – the Galaxy S3 isn’t even out and there’s already a different version for South Koreans
The Samsung Galaxy S3 – which we just crowned the king of Android phones in ourGalaxy S3 review– has got a new look. But you’ll only be able to get it in Samsung’s home country, South Korea.
As you can see from this snap leaked byMobilePhoneBlog(viaElectricPig) the new shape looks a lot more like theGalaxy S II, with straighter lines and arguably a more premium design. And the reasoning behind stripping the South Korean Galaxy S3 of its curves? This 4G LTE version of the S3 won’t work with the Exynos quad-core processor, so the new model is dual-core only – and Sammy thought that while it was changing things, it might as well redesign the beauty.
We prefer the UK version, to be honest – but what do you think? Let us know onTwitter. And in the meantime revel in thepower of the S3’s battery that manages double the battery life of its next-best-rival the HTC One X.
