OnePlus has announced the price of its first-ever Android tablet, the OnePlus Pad. After allowing customers to reservepre-ordersby paying, the price is now confirmed for the United States. Here are all the details that you need to know about OnePlus Pad price in the US.

OnePlus Pad US Pricing

OnePlus Pad US Pricing

The OnePlus Pad is priced at $479 in the US. This places it below the $700 cost of the Galaxy Tab S8 and slightly higher than the most affordable 10th-generation iPad, which is priced at $450.

The OnePlus Pad, powered by a MediaTek Dimensity 9000 processor, may not match the overall performance of Apple’s latest ultra-high-end iPad Pros. However, it is expected to directly compete against the powerful but smaller iPad Air (2022). The OnePlus Pad is larger in size and is likely to be priced similarly or slightly lower than the iPad Air.

The OnePlus Pad also competes with theGalaxy Tab S7 FE, which costs $449 for the 128GB storage option. The hardware of the OnePlus Tab is better, and some people might prefer it over the Samsung tablet, especially if they want a device that is better for gaming. Samsung could either lower the price of the Tab S7 FE or create a new model to compete with the OnePlus Tab. But the battle is not lost yet since Samsung is prepping to unveil anew lineup of Tab S9alongside anFE variant. It would be interesting to see how it turns out.

When pre-orders for the first OnePlus tablet open again on April 28, early adopters can get either a free magnetic keyboard or a stylus with their purchase. The OnePlus Stylo stylus will be available for purchase on its own for $99, while the keyboard accessory is worth $149. If you want a more valuable gift, choose the keyboard.

If you’re interested in purchasing the OnePlus Pad and you live in the US, there are two offers you should know about. First, during the pre-sale period (April 28 to May 7), you can get 50% off the OnePlus Buds Pro 2 if you buy the tablet. Second, if you have an eligible device to trade in, you can get a $50 discount on the tablet during the open-sale period. You can pre-order the tablet from theOnePlus website. Although the company hasn’t specified shipping dates, it’s expected to deliver to customers in May 2023.

The OnePlus Pad stands out from other tablets on the market due to its unique 7:5 aspect ratio display that boasts a 144Hz refresh rate and a 2800 x 2000 pixel resolution, making it seem like a good choice for those seeking an optimal display experience.

The OnePlus Pad has an 11.6-inch screen with a 144Hz refresh rate, a 2,800 x 2,000-pixel resolution, and a peak brightness of 500 nits. It is equipped with a MediaTek Dimensity 9000 processor, up to 12GB of LPDDR5 RAM, and 256GB UFS 3.1 storage

The OnePlus Pad features Dolby Atmos and Vision, and Omnibearing Sound Field technology. It has a large 9,510mAh battery with a fast 67W charger that offers a standby time of one month. When fully charged, the device offers more than 12 hours of usage. Additionally, it takes only 80 minutes to fully charge the device with the 67W charger.

The OnePlus Pad has a 13MP back camera and an 8MP front camera. It runs Android 13 with OxygenOS13, which includes tablet-specific features like automatic linking to other OnePlus devices for OTP verification, sharing cellular data, improved messaging options, and file-sharing abilities. Additional features include a fingerprint sensor, a quad-speaker system with Dolby Atmos sound, and better Wi-Fi 6 connectivity.

The tablet has several good features for a price pointbelow $500. However, it is uncertain if a newcomer with this “not bad” value proposition can succeed in such a competitive market.
