In 2022, OPPO made its grand entrance into the tablet market with their initial release of the original OPPO Pad. Subsequently, they unveiled a more advanced and powerful device called the OPPO Pad Air. Now, as per the latest reports, OPPO might soon launch a successor to the OPPO Pad, dubbed OPPO Pad 2.

The OPPO Pad 2 is recently spotted onGeekbench– a benchmarking platform – which revealed some of its key specifications. Not surprisingly, these specs appear to be identical to those found in theOnePlus Pad.

According to the listing, this device is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon processor. Though its exact model has not yet been revealed, it’s likely that it will come powered by the Snapdragon 888 chip. In Geekbench 6 tests, the device achieved an impressive score of 1,160 points in single core testing and 3,186 points in multi core testing – demonstrating its power and potential. To recall, the first OPPO Pad had Snapdragon 870 while the Pad Air debuted with a Snapdragon 680 processor.

Furthermore, the listing specifies that the OPPO Pad 2 will feature Android 13 OS with ColorOS custom UI on top. The benchmark test also reveals an 8GB of RAM and Bluetooth 5.3 support on this device.

The previous leaks about the OPPO Pad 2 revealed that the tablet might come with an 11-inch LCD screen with a resolution of 2800 x 2800 pixels. It will also boast 144Hz refresh rate, HDR10+, and Dolby Vision support. A 9,500mAh battery with 67W fast charging might power the device. Interestingly, the same leak report also tipped that the tablet may come powered by a Dimensity 9000 chipset so we have to take everything with a grain of salt of here!

Although the official unveiling of the OPPO Pad 2 is yet to be announced, rumor has it that we can anticipate its launch alongside the OPPO Find X6 series flagships this month – so watch out!
