After all the comprehensivecoveragewe’ve done on Oppo’s highly-anticipated Pad 2 tablet, Oppo has finally revealed its official launch date. On March 21, 2023, Oppo will unveil the next generation of their flagship tablet as well as the Find X6 smartphone and Enco Free3 wireless earbuds.
It’s worth noting that the launch date was just confirmed on Oppo’s China website, while Oppo’s international website has yet to make any such announcement. This further strengthens speculation that Find X6 Pro could possibly be exclusive to China alone. Although there has been no confirmation about the global availability of Oppo Pad 2 as well, we remain hopeful that it will be available in other markets soon.
All about Oppo Pad 2 launch
OPPO is dubbing its imminent March 21, 2023 press conference the “Find X6 series World Premiere”, but they have also made it known that more than just “video flagship” smartphones will be featured at the event.
Interestingly enough, Oppo has gone ahead and made the pre-order page live for the upcoming Pad 2 tablet, which it labels as the “flagship of the year”. Not surprisingly, it bears a striking resemblance to theOnePlus Padbut with seemingly two new color options: Nebula Gray and Light Feather Gold.
The Pad 2 will likely be available in two storage variants, 256GB and 512GB, with 8GB/12GB RAM options. The Pad 2 is already gaining traction, and despite no information on specs or price, it has already been reserved by over ~53,000 customers for its 6 SKUs. People do seem eager to get their hands on this new tablet.
Smart keyboard and stylus
According to ourrecent reports, Oppo is also offering accessories for the Pad 2 – a smart keyboard and stylus. The schematic of this tablet displays its integration with Oppo’s upcoming flagship smartphone — Find X6.
