The South Korean giant is now seemingly gearing up to bring out a budget tablet, the Samsung Galaxy Tab A9. The Tab A9 has been spotted in the FCC listing.

Recently, Samsung accidentally revealed the name of its upcoming Galaxy Tab S9 FE series tablets. A tipster also leaked the pricing of the upcoming Tab S9 FE. Additionally, we have seen the Tab S9 FE and Tab S9 FE Plus in the Safety Korea certification. And now, according to a report byPricebaba, a new Samsung tablet with the model number SM-X115 has been discovered in the FCC listing.

The FCC listing reveals that the tablet will feature support for LTE, Wi-Fi, FM, GPS, Bluetooth, and other features. Additionally, Samsung plans to include a 5100 mAh battery that supports 15W fast charging technology.

According to the FCC listing, Samsung’s new tablet will measure 210.7mm in length and 124.7mm in width. It will have a 3.5mm headphone jack and a USB Type-C port. Unfortunately, the listing doesn’t provide any other details about the tablet. However, it has been certified by the Wi-Fi Alliance, and the model number for the Wi-Fi-only version is SM-X110. The FCC listing also shows that the tablet will have a single rear camera, as evidenced by the schematics and live images.

Given the leaks and reports, Samsung seems to be all set to launch the successor to theGalaxy Tab A8, dubbed the Galaxy Tab A9. The Galaxy Tab A8, launched in December 2021, boasts a large 10.5-inch TFT LCD display with a resolution of 1200 x 1920 pixels. With a screen-to-body ratio of 81.1%, a pixel density of 216 PPI, and an aspect ratio of 16:10. The Tab A8 boasts an 8MP rear camera with Autofocus and a 5MP front-facing camera for selfies. It can record videos at 1080p @ 30fps.

The Samsung Galaxy Tab A8 is a cheap entry-level tablet that should get long software updates. It offers a good performance for its price, a metal body, and four good speakers. Sadly, the battery life is not the best and it does not support an active pen.

Under the hood, the device is powered by Unisoc Tiger T618 SoC, built on a 12nm process. It is a powerful octa-core chipset consisting of two Cortex A75 cores running at 2.0GHz and six Cortex A55 cores also clocked at 2.0GHz. Along with a Mali G52 MP2 GPU, it comes with 2GB / 3GB / 4GB RAM and 32GB / 64GB / 128GB of storage. You can expand the storage even further with a microSD card slot. With a 7040 mAh battery, the tablet supports 15W fast charging.
