Samsung Galaxy Tab S8 FE Rumored to Debut in August
A new leak suggests that the successor to the Tab S7 FE could debut alongside Samsung’s upcoming flagship phone Galaxy S23 and foldables later this year.

Word has it that Samsung will launch the hotly-anticipated Galaxy S23 FE in August, along with two of their most advanced foldable devices yet: The top-tier Galaxy Z Fold5 and Galaxy Z Flip5. But there’s more in store for Samsung fans this year. Asleaked informationspeculates, an August event will likely unveil the Galaxy Tab S8 FE.
Unveiled in May 2021, theTab S7 FEawaits its successor. Rumors are running high that Samsung will launch this line of tablets at their upcoming Unpacked event along with foldables. Although there might be doubts about introducing both the Tab S8 FE and the Galaxy Tab S9 simultaneously, it looks like this is what we can expect soon. Speculation has been made that SM-X506B could be the model number for Tab S8 FE, coupled with a big LCD screen display and S-Pen support to complete it all.
In September 2022, the SamsungGalaxy Tab S8FE also appeared on Geekbench’s listings. According to the listing, the new tablet will be equipped with MediaTek’s Kompanio 900T chipset – a 6nm processor composed of two powerful Cortex-A78 cores (clocked at 2.4GHz but benchmarked as running at 2.6GHz) plus six A55 cores clocking in at 2.0 GHz and sporting an integrated Mali-G68 MC4 graphics unit.
These specs make it comparable to Dimensity 900 and include built-in 5G modem support. The listing also revealed that it features 4GB of RAM and 5G connectivity. There are also rumors about a Wi-Fi-only variant of the Tab S8 FE.
It’s rare for Samsung to launch two flagship tablets at the same event, but it appears that Galaxy S23 FE and foldable devices will likely accompany the Tab S8 FE. Although some may be uncertain if these leaks are accurate, Samsung has made it a tradition to awe its fans with unexpected news during the Unpacked events.
