Samsung is set to host its next Galaxy Unpacked event next month. It is expected that the event will showcase three products namely, Galaxy Z Fold 5, Galaxy Z Flip 5, and Galaxy Watch 6. Press images of all three products have been recently leaked. The Samsung Galaxy Tab S9 is also rumored to be unveiled officially in July along with the other products and now its official press images have been leaked too.

The Galaxy Tab S9 series has been leaked by @snoopytech, following the recent appearance of the Tab S9 Plus and Tab S9 Ultra models at the Federal Communications Commission (FCC) in the US. This leak now completes the expected devices that Samsung is set to announce at its upcoming Galaxy Unpacked event at the end of July. The new leak shows all three tablets –regular, Plus, and Ultra form factors– side by side.

Samsung is going to release three variants of flagship tablets under the names Galaxy Tab S9, Galaxy Tab S9 Plus, and Galaxy Tab S9 Ultra. These will come in different sizes, probably 11 inches, 12.4 inches, and 14.6 inches. It seems that the press renders don’t provide any surprising details about Samsung’s upcoming tablet lineup. One of the images shows a tablet, which is presumed to be the Tab S9 or Tab S9 Plus, alongside other devices that we anticipate Samsung will present at their Unpacked event in July.

As per CAD-based renders, the design of the Galaxy Tab S9 and Galaxy Tab S9 Plus will be similar to their predecessor, including the notch for two front-facing cameras. A leak by @snoopytechconfirms this, and it also reveals that the tablets will have thick display bezels similar to the ones on last year’s models.

Although there may not be many noticeable differences, it seems there will be a significant change in that all three tablets are expected to have some sort of protection against dust and water. It has been reported that the new tablets areexpected to have IP67water resistance. This means that they can be protected underwater up to a depth of 1 meter (3.2 feet) for a maximum of 30 minutes without any damage. Although many Samsung smartphones now have some level of IP protection, this is the first time the company is offering this feature for its premium tablets.

The Tab S9 Ultra is expected to be the main highlight of the line-up and the leaked render indicates that there won’t be many significant changes in its design compared to the Tab S8 Ultra. Samsung is likely to keep the notched design and it will probably feature two cameras. Similar to the Tab S8 Ultra, it is expected to have a large 14.6-inch AMOLED screen with a 120Hz refresh rate, and a powerful 11,200mAh battery with 45W fast charging support.

Considering Samsung has included the pressure-sensitive stylus, S Pen, with every Galaxy Tab S model since the S6, it’s expected to see it included with the Tab S9 Ultra. However, it is a bit disappointing to see that the upcoming tablet will retain the notch on its large display.

Samsung isexpected to use Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Gen 2chipsets for its new tablets, but no other details have been leaked yet. The Galaxy Tab S9 Ultra may feature a new OLED display. Accessories for the Tab S9 series have already been revealed, including the S Pen Pro 2 and the NotePaper Screen Case.
