Samsung Galaxy Tab S9 Tipped to Arrive with Three Models
Samsung may launch three models for each Galaxy Tab S9, Tab S9+, and Tab S9 Ultra. All three models will differ in terms of connectivity.

Samsung is hard at work on the anticipated launch of its high-end Galaxy Tab S9 series during the latter portion of 2023. To date, news reports indicate that this powerful lineup includes three models – namely, the Samsung Galaxy Tab S9, Tab S9+, and acclaimed Galaxy Tab S9 Ultra. As the Tab S8 variants made their debut in February 2022, it appears that their successors will be revealed this summer.
GalaxyClubhas reported that the model numbers of the upcoming Tab S9 series have now surfaced. The tablet will be available in both Wi-Fi-only and Wi-Fi + 5G versions.
The model numbers for Samsung’s Tab S9 series have been revealed. The base variant of Tab S9 will be identified as SM-X710 (Wi-Fi), SM-X716B (5G Global), and SM-X718U (5G US). Additionally, the larger variant, the Galaxy Tab S9+, has been assigned the model numbers SM-X810 (Wi-Fi), SM-X816B (5G Global), and SM-X818U (5G US). Lastly, the Ultra version is designated with model numbers SM-X910 (Wi-Fi), SM-X916B (5G Global), and SM-X918U (5G US).
Samsung has kept mum about the approaching Tab S9 series, but reports indicate that it will hit shelves in the latter part of this year. Notably, the S9 series may be the only premiumSamsung tablet with IP67 water resistance. The Tab S9 appears to have an IP67 rating for dust and water protection. In addition, this device might also come with One UI 5.1 based on Android 13 as well as a Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 processor – giving it even more power than its predecessors!
Moreover, the Samsung Galaxy Tab S9 series is expected to feature upgrades over its predecessor, such as a more sophisticated camera setup, AKG-tuned speakers, and better software.
