TCL reveals China Star TV – a 110in 4K 3D multitouch LCD screen
We’d sell every gadget we own if we could feast our eyes upon Skyrim on this drool inducing super-telly
You may not have heard of TCL before – but3dfocushas reported that the Chinese company has recently unveiled the China Star – a 4k 3D TV that commands more than a little attention, thanks to its tech-packed spec list.
With a mind-boggling 110in screen and a huge 4Kx2K (4096×2160) pixel-packing resolution, this hi-tech 3D telly also features multitouch technology as well as an impressive 800 nit of brightness. Although there are larger 4K displays out there – Panasonic’s made a 152in monster plasma, for instance – we’re pretty sure this is the biggest 4Kx2K LCD TV. And that LCD display would bring it in reach of ordinary – if wealthy – consumers, as opposed to the corporate users that Panny’s pricey plasma was aimed at.
Although there’s no pricing information or release schedule, we’re not getting our hopes up about seeing this 110in beast hitting UK shores any time soon. Not that we’d be able to afford it anyway.
