Touchscreen-focused BlackBerry 10 OS leaked
Is this what we can expect from BlackBerry’s dive into the world of touchscreen-focused-OS devices later this year?
Want to see whatBlackBerry 10 OSwill look like when it arrives later in the year? Those BlackBerry addicts over at CrackBerry have taken the wraps off RIM’s new operating system, and the touchscreen-focused OS is looking promising.
A BlackBerry OS without a QWERTY focus is like Steve Jobs without a turtleneck, but things change. And despite its lack of popularity, the keyboard-free PlayBook OS was an impressive interface that has transitioned into theBlackBerry 10 Dev Alpha. A SwiftKey-like keyboard and icon tray are likely coming, as well as a Holo looking media player. But most notable are the flow style controls for email in the pictures above – allowing you to jump from inbox to attachments to messages with simple swipes.
BlackBerry is keeping everything else secret, including the release date ofBlackBerry 10, but keep your eyes peeled later this year for the future of BlackBerry. Check out ourBlackBerry 10 hands-on previewuntil then.
