Xiaomi Pad 6 Leaks in Live Images with Camera Module Like Xiaomi 12

If the recently leaked live images of the Xiaomi Pad 6 are anything to go by, the upcoming tablet is set for a camera upgrade inspired by Xiaomi 12 smartphone. However, those hoping for a more compact 7-inch or 8-inch tablet from Xiaomi should brace themselves as this appears unlikely.

A popular leaker, Digital Chat Station (viaCNMO), recently released photos of a real-life Xiaomi Pad 6. The images show the tablet’s backside in what appears to be aniPad Pro-inspired silver colorway – a stark contrast from its predecessor’s Cosmic Gray, White, Black, and Green models. It is said that the Pad 6 will come in sizes 11 inches and 12 inches which positions it as stiff competition for Apple tablets.

The camera on the Xiaomi Pad 6 seems to have undergone a significant improvement over its5th-generation predecessor, appearing strikingly similar to that of the triple-camera system found in the Xiaomi 12 smartphone. This phone comes with a 50-megapixel wide-angle lens, a 13-megapixel ultra-wide sensor, and a 5-megapixel telemacro lens. The new Pad 6 will likely be packing something along these lines judging by what can be seen in recently leaked images.

Unfortunately for fans of smaller tablets, it appears Xiaomi will only be releasing larger 11-12 inch models in their Pad 6 series. Even more so, some whispers suggest that a 14-inch version might even make its way onto the market soon! For those wanting a more premium experience, the Pro model will boast an AMOLED screen with a 2880×1880 resolution.

Regarding other alleged specifications, the ongoing rumors hint that the base model will likely come powered by a Snapdragon 870, while the Pro variant will feature the Snapdragon 8th Gen 1 processor. Additional touted features include four speakers, a 120Hz monitor, and 120W rapid charging capabilities.

It appears that the Xiaomi Pad 6 series is almost ready to debut, following its predecessor’s initial launch – theXiaomi Pad 5– in August 2021 and the Pro model later that year. With excitement growing around this new tablet range, it’s no surprise consumers are eager to get their hands on one.
