There have been plenty of leaks recently about the Xiaomi Pad 6 Max. The alleged tablet will be adding to the existing Pad 6 lineup which includes the Xiaomi Pad 6 and Xiaomi Pad 6 Pro, both of which were launched in April this year. Currently, only the Xiaomi Pad 6 is available in global markets includingIndiaandEurope. In the latest leak, folks atMySmartPricespotted the Xiaomi Pad 6 Max on theGeekbenchcertification site with details about the upcoming tablet, and it seems that a launch could be imminent.
Like always, Geekbench doesn’t reveal the name of the processor. Instead, it shows other details, like its code name ‘ARM implementer 65 architecture 8 variant 2 part 3400 revision 0’ and how its CPU cores are set up. On one side, this code name is the same as other devices that use the Snapdragon 8 Plus Gen 1, such as the Motorola Razr Plus and theXiaomi Pad 6 Pro. On the other side, its CPU groups and speeds are like Qualcomm’s third fastest chip for smartphones, after the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 and Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 for Galaxy. So, it’s most likely the Snapdragon 8 Plus Gen 2.
According to the listing, Xiaomi’s soon-to-be-released tablet will run Android 13 with MIUI 14 skin out-of-the-box. The Xiaomi Pad 6 Max has achieved a single-core test score of 1752 points and a multi-core test score of 4618 points. Unfortunately, no additional information about the tablet is available on the website.
It seems that Xiaomi has equipped the Pad 6 Max with 12 GB of RAM, which is the same as the Pad 6 Pro. This suggests that the Pad 6 Max is simply a larger version of the Pad 6 Pro, rather than a more advanced model. According to previous rumors, the Pad 6 Max will have a 14-inch screen, 67 W wired charging, four speakers, and three high-megapixel cameras. However, it is unclear when Xiaomi will release the Pad 6 Max, and whether it will be available worldwide.
The Xiaomi Pad 6 offers a fantastic value. Even though it’s quite affordable, it offers tons of flagship features like a metal body, a pretty 144Hz display, powerful hardware, and up-to-date software. You can get it with a keyboard and pen - however, some features like a fingerprint scanner are missing.
There arereportsthat the Pad 6 Max has been listed on the 3C certification site. According to the listing, it appears that the tablet will come with 67W fast charging, which is similar to the Xiaomi Pad 6 Pro. This has led to speculation that the Pad 6 Max may be a larger version of the Pad 6 Pro with similar features. The rumor first surfaced on Weibo when Fixed Focus Digital suggested that while both tablets have the same configurations, the Xiaomi Pad 6 Max is expected to have a 14-inch display.
Currently, Xiaomi has not provided any updates on when the Pad 6 Max will be released. It remains to be seen if the company will unveil any information about the tablet during the upcoming August 14 event in China, which is focused on the Mi Mix Fold 3.
