Xiaomi is reportedly in the works of developing a third tablet, known as the Xiaomi Pad 6 Max. Recent findings onBluetooth SIGand3C certificationsites have hinted at its existence. While details about this new slate remain scarce, it has been revealed that it will support 67W charging. According to an insider, the Xiaomi Pad 6 Max will essentially be a larger version of the Xiaomi Pad 6 Pro, which is currently exclusive to the Chinese market and features a Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 chipset. Let’s delve into the specifics.
According to asource, the Xiaomi Pad 6 Max is essentially an upsized version of the Xiaomi Pad 6 Pro. The rear camera module is reportedly similar to the Pad 6 series, and the specifications match those of the Pad 6 Pro, except for the screen size. The Max model boasts a 14-inch display, while the Pad 6 Pro features an 11-inch display. This latest development comes as no surprise.
The Xiaomi Pad 6 offers a fantastic value. Even though it’s quite affordable, it offers tons of flagship features like a metal body, a pretty 144Hz display, powerful hardware, and up-to-date software. You can get it with a keyboard and pen - however, some features like a fingerprint scanner are missing.
This tablet could be a good pick for users seeking a bigger tablet for both productivity and entertainment purposes. However, there is uncertainty regarding its availability outside of China. Presently, only the Xiaomi Pad 6 is up for grabs in the global market, while the Pad 6 Pro is exclusively offered to Chinese customers.

Xiaomi Pad 6 Pro
The Xiaomi Pad 6 Max is expected to feature identical specifications to the Pad 6 Pro but with a bigger screen. To recall, the Xiaomi Pad boasts an 11-inch display with a resolution of 2880 x 1800. This display supports a variable refresh rate of up to 144Hz and is safeguarded by Corning Gorilla Glass 3, ensuring durability against scratches and accidental drops.
Under the hood, the Xiaomi Pad 6 Pro is equipped with the powerful Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 4nm Mobile Platform. This high-performance chipset is paired with up to 12GB LPDDR5 RAM and up to 512GB UFS 3.1 storage.
In the optics department, the Pad 6 features a primary sensor of 50MP, accompanied by a 2MP depth sensor, and a front camera of 20MP. Notably, the tablet’s selfie camera is ingeniously designed to enhance video calls with its auto-tracking feature, smoothly following your movements for a more dynamic experience.
The Xiaomi Pad 6 Pro supports connectivity options including Wi-Fi 6 802.11 ax and Bluetooth 5.2, along with USB Type-C audio, Dolby Atmos, and four speakers, making it perfect for streaming content.
A 8600 mAh battery backs the device with 67W wired charging, which is touted to go from 0 to 100% in just 62 minutes. The Mi Pad 6 Pro also comes with a deep hibernation mode, which is claimed by Xiaomi to extend the battery life up to an impressive “47.9 days”.
Furthermore, Xiaomi has launched an improved version of their detachable keyboard and stylus, ensuring that users can make the most out of their device. The latest keyboard boasts a significant 16% increase in size compared to its predecessor, offering a more spacious and comfortable typing experience. Not only that, but it also comes equipped with NFC support. Furthermore, the second-generation touch pen has been enhanced to deliver an impressive 40% reduction in latency, allowing for a more natural and responsive writing or drawing experience.
Starting at CNY 2399 (approx. $350) for 8GB RAM + 128GB Storage variant, the Xiaomi Pad Pro offers a range of storage options. The 8GB RAM + 256GB Storage variant is priced at CNY 2699 (around US$390). For those who require even greater storage capabilities, the 12GB RAM + 256 GB Storage variant is available at CNY 2999 (approx. US$435), while the top-of-the-line 12GB RAM + 512GB Storage variant is priced at CNY 3299 (around US$480).
