Xiaomi Pad 6, Pad 6 Pro Design and Chipset Revealed, Launching on April 18

Xiaomi Pad 6 Series is all set to debut in China on April 18th, 2023. Alongside the release of this long-anticipated flagship tablet series, the Chinese manufacturer would also unveil the Xiaomi 13 Ultra and Xiaomi Band 8 fitness tracker. Recent reports have uncovered that the upcoming lineup will consist of two new models – the Xiaomi Pad 6 and Xiaomi Pad 6 Pro.
To corroborate these rumors, aposterwas released to confirm which chipsets are expected to fuel them. Replacing the former versions from 2021, this series is set to have new and better features.
The Xiaomi Pad 6 offers a fantastic value. Even though it’s quite affordable, it offers tons of flagship features like a metal body, a pretty 144Hz display, powerful hardware, and up-to-date software. You can get it with a keyboard and pen - however, some features like a fingerprint scanner are missing.
Xiaomi Pad 6 Pro Spotted on Geekbench
A fresh Xiaomi device with model number 23046RP50C has made an appearance on Geekbench. This is the same model number that was linked to Xiaomi Pad 6 Pro in earlier rumors. According to what we know, it will have a Qualcomm Snapdragon 8+ Gen1 chipset which many flagship and premium phones are using these nowadays.
Furthermore, the Geekbench listing reveals that the Xiaomi Pad 6 Pro will possess an Adreno 730 GPU for graphics. In terms of performance, it earned a single-core score of 1712 and a multi-core score of 4348. Additionally, this device is anticipated to come preinstalled with Android 13 out-of-the-box.

As seen in the image, this device has an impressive 50MP dual camera system on its back along with an LED flash – a similar design to those spotted in the Xiaomi 13 series smartphones.
The Pad 6 Pro will be powered by the advanced Snapdragon 8 Plus Gen 1 chipset, and though there is no official word on the battery size of this model yet, it has been speculated to offer67W rapid charging support. Boasting quad speakers for a superior audio experience and a USB Type-C port that supports lightning-fast data transfer speeds with USB 3.0 technology, plus an added side-facing fingerprint scanner.
The much-anticipated Xiaomi Pad 6 series is expected to launch feature 12GB of RAM, up to 256 GB of storage, and Android 13-based MIUI 14 OS. For those curious about its aesthetics, it will come in three unique colors: black, beige, and blue. Unfortunately, there’s no info yet on the price tag, but we can’t wait to find out when these tablets will finally hit shelves.

AMOLED praised high but hopefully they dont use PWM to adjust the screen brightness.. Its getting a real problem that smartphones, tablets, laptops all get these oled screen but then peiple end up with headaches, eye strain and even epilectic because of the ‘flickering’ of the screen,When are reviewers going to start mentioning/warning this in their reviews?
